Archopy

Archopy! My pride and joy.

So, this is a fake Pokémon of mine born out of intense dislike of Grovyle's evolved form. I found it such a pity how little justice Sceptile does to Grovyle's smooth elegance, so I designed an alternative evolution better suited to the things I like about Grovyle. As Grovyle is based off some kind of avian dinosaur, I based my alt. evo off an Archaeopteryx [link] and gave it the Grass/Flying type. The name, Archopy, comes from "Archaeopteryx" and "canopy".

Archopy was created a good couple of years ago now, but it still remains my favourite Fakemon out of the several that I've made. I've even been writing a fic [link] centering around it over at the Serebiiforums.

Pokémon and Grovyle are (c) Game Freak, but Archopy is (c) me. If anyone else has drawn it and posted it somewhere, they should have had permission from me to do so.

Please excuse the fact that my first attempt at a background looks like it was drawn by a five-year-old.
