The Broom Samurai

Oh, Maya. Someone's been watching a bit too much Steel Samurai...

Inspired by the start of Turnabout Samurai where Maya is spazzing over the recent episode and Phoenix tells her to "stop waving that broom around". So technically, this actually happened in canon.

I was glad of the chance this gave me to draw Phoenix while portraying one of the things I like about his character - constant exasperation over Maya's antics - rather than just "hey here's a guy in a blue suit who happens to have awesome spiky hair". More facial expression practice here, although I'm not completely satisfied; Phoenix was meant to just look alarmed, not worried.

...Now that I say that, I sound really picky.
